Mass and active shooters

In this issue: People across the country are asking questions about how to prevent gun violence in their communities and nationwide. Our team answers those questions by studying violence and its prevention through evidence-based policies, programs, and education for a safer future.

Our latest work includes a study of mass and active shooters and how potential shooters might be better identified as threats in the future, commentary on concealed carry and policy approaches to mitigating harm, and an analysis of suicide in California in the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic as compared to the two years prior to the pandemic.
