The CA FVRC Research Grant Award Program
Inside our February/March 2024 newsletter
In this issue: We are excited to announce the latest funding opportunity within our Research Grant Award Program! The California Firearm Violence Research Center is seeking proposals to support rigorous and equitable research on the causes, consequences, and prevention of violence and evaluations of policies and interventions that expand the evidence about what contributes to preventing violence and improving safety and equity outcomes.
This request for proposals offers two funding categories: (1) small grants (up to $25,000) available to all investigators, and (2) large grants (up to $100,000) available to all investigators excluding postdoctoral scholars and graduate students. Early-stage investigators may receive priority consideration in funding decisions.
Because this grant award program is funded by the State of California, projects must include California-based research teams. Please read the full details and application instructions here. Feel free to share the above information with anyone who may be interested! Proposals are due by May 15th.
